These beautiful golden linseeds are grown right here in Aotearoa New Zealand, and they're one of nature's best sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Whether you call them linseeds or flaxseeds, they're the same tiny powerhouse seed.

How to use: Grind them fresh for maximum nutrition (whole seeds can pass right through you). Sprinkle on porridge, blend into smoothies, stir through yoghurt, or use as an egg replacement in baking — mix 1 tbsp ground linseeds with 3 tbsp water and let it gel. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for freshness.
