Brazil nuts

UPDATE: Brazil nuts are suffering from a global shortage due to poor yield this harvest season because of extreme drought in the Amazon rainforest. They are now back in stock but unfortunately with a price increase. This is a result of the short supply as well as the increased costs for harvesters as they must work longer and travel further to collect even smaller quantities.

Brazil nuts are a nutrient-dense snack loaded with selenium and healthy fats. Enjoy them on their own or chop them up and sprinkle over salads or oatmeal. For a decadent treat, dip Brazil nuts in melted chocolate and let them set for a delicious dessert.
